They're raised to work and respect their families.

I don't know a whole lot about the Italian culture, but I admire it. I think they are raised with strong family ties, love to cook and eat, seem to be pretty relaxed, but can be emotional at times. I'm excluding the Mafia from this assessment, though it's pretty much the same, but end things with some dire consequences.

I love the Italian Culture. I am half Italian. My grandparents came
from Italy and were from large families. Italians are usually close
knit, they love to party, cook, eat, drink vino-wine and gamble. They love to play cards, bingo, slot machines. They love to dance
and are usually social butterflies. The old timers wore the pin striped suits with fedora hats but they were not all in the mafia, but
many families had one black sheep or racateur in the family. Many are religious , especially catholics. They love beautiful things and
usually have gardens and vineyards. The best foods- Italian

My dad is Italian. He was raised Catholic in a family of 7 kids. That's pretty much all I know.

Where should I begin? Family is everything. Every meal is a masterpiece of the heart. Loyalty is required, respect is demanded. (in a good way).

I won't bore everyone here with my story of growing up in an Italian family, in New York, and with the profound pride of my Grandparents becoming American citizens. It's too long.
