I think it was an OK start to something big. It may not have been a great show, but most sitcoms have pretty terrible pilot episodes, where they explain the setting and start to introduce all the characters. Give ECW a few weeks to break away from this ECW vs Raw storyline and it will be the best brand out of the 3. I promise.

The show was definitely a disappointment and you can only feel badly for Paul Heyman as Vince and Steph's fingerprints were all over that show. But then again, I wasn't stupid enough to think that Vince would actually let Paul run the new ECW like the old ECW.
It is only the first show, but it needs to be drastically different starting next week. It seems like it was a success as it did a 2.8 rating, but that is definitely going to be lower next week based off of this week.

i agree with GG, that show reeked of vince, one of these days vince will realize that paul e is the greatest booker in wrestling history. until then expect kiss my assclub type wrestling from ecw. and for all of you ecw sucks people, you wouldnt know what real wrestling is because you have had the "entertainment"bullshit jammed down your throat for so long you think its good. furthermore, you have probably never even seen an actuall ecw event. it funny that the same people who are all pro-wwe. were saying wwf sucks a couple of years ago when wcw was riding high.. you type of fans make me sick. ps john cena is the worst wwe champion since hogan.

I thought it was ok but they should make it longer. I cant wait until raw when paul heyman said he is going to come with his wrestlers.
