im 15 n i live in Harlem New york n i wanna know how old do you have to be to get a tatoo?...i really want one...well i want 4 but i wanna know Where can i look 4 tatoo's i want n how old?...

You have to be 18 were it is legal for you to get one without parents permission. But you can when you are 16 or so and get a parents permission. Its that same with piercings too.

First of all, ask yourself if you REALLY want a tattoo. I have sooo many friends who thought a tat would be cool in high school. But now they're in college and have to find certain kind of shirts and bathing suits to cover thier ex's name (just an example lol). SO my advice is to REALLY think about it. Don't just do it ta be cool for the time being, think about what it will mean to you in 10-20 years.
And btw you can get a tat at any age but your parents hav'ta sign off. Either that or wait till you're 18. Oh and you can go to findatattoo.com to look for some designs.

you can get them whenever you want iwht parental permission but im 15 as well and everyone i know that has a tattoo (liek 19 20 or 30 year olds) says WAIT UNTIL YOUR AT LEAST 20) because your less likely to regret it....i would wiat...i am waiting

u can get a tattoo after u r 14 and ur parents r there. But after u r 18 u can get as many as u want byurself!
