Many players will wear the skates from the company which they are sponsored.For example Jarome Iginla is sponsored by Bauer, so those are the type of skates he wears. THe skates are also custom made to the players specifications, so they aren't the same as the ones you or I could buy off the shelf.

right now highly popular are the RBK skates. some players still roll with CCM or bauer. lots of players are picking up on mission and other brands that are breaking in. players usually get promo contracts with brands so they wear those. just look at some still shots of players.

Some players get Reebok skates. You can get them at RBKhockey.com. They also wear vspor hockey pumps. They make your feet feel more comfortable.
