Go to www.tirerack.com. There, you can find owner surveys on just about every make and model tire, with subjective ratings for wet and dry grip, tire wear, ride quality, noise, etc.

You need to go to a trusted local tire store, Walmart, Les Schwab, whatever you have near you, there are so many choices.
