oh well as far as that goes, it has to do with endorphines and addiction. its natural. when you have orgasmic release you get an endorphine rush. so you keep seeking it out and seeking it out. once something triggers a memory in your brain that you associate with the act you use to achieve the endorphine rush, dopamine is stimulated and gives you the energy you need to seek it out

so as far as the normal levels are concerned, since you are dealing with natural release, as opossed to unnatural by an outside chemical (ie cocaine) i would say your levels are pretty much natural. it is probably more likely you may feel guilt or something like that. but really the only choice you have is to quit. there is no reason to medicate to get you to quit when u can quit on your own. u probably just have an addictive personality

uumm.. actually the thing is that i have a masturbation addiction, i try so hard to hold back on not doing it, but barely make it to day 5 of without masturbation, i just cant help it, i get these urges, just to do it, i have tried a lot to hold on to not to do it and i made it for a week without doing it, but then i end up doing it many times, i made so many promises, but i always end up breaking them. this pattern repeats many times So I did a little research myself, and though this has to do with something wrong in the brain chemistry process. Could you please advise on what might be the problem and will i recover and go back to a normal state in the whole brain chemistry thing?
