Since my pre-amp has been down since my wife died, (a little over 4 years now) I don't know the new ones, but let me clue you in on two of the older ones. Try listening to some James Taylor and some Kenny Loggins (especially from the Loggins & Messina days). I didn't really like Messina's music as his words were rather worldly, but the songs Loggins wrote really sung to my spirit. I hope this gives you a start.
