I stopped liking that around the age of 5, when I realized it is work.

Yeah, I always manage to grate a knuckle too, I can get pre-grated cheese in the supermarket near me though, so that's good :)

Depends on the cheese. i was just now grating mozzerella (which is why I decided to answer) and that can be annoying. Hard cheezes like romano are no problem until I get close to my knuckles.

I kind of enjoy it, I love the way it looks when it is grated. Get one of those graters that has a handle it will go real fast.

Yes, I do.
Fortunately, the kids like grating it---so I let them.

Grating cheese is punishment for all your wrong doings. Its evil, greasy, stinky piles of rotten milk between your fingers, mold, fungus, never can get the smell off. I cant take it any more, some one please help!!. But I do love to eat it.

Cut my knuckle once. And cleaning the cheese grater is another headache. Sure is fun to eat though.
