I know it's a prank. How does it happen?

Yes i had the same thing happen. I had a virus in my YIM program. I had to run a virus scan clean out everything and then i chose to reinstall the YIM with the latest version. My pc would get blasted with 50 IM's really quick and I couldn't stop it and my pc would crash too! Good luck give this a try!

there are things called booters... an basically what they do is overload ur system till you get "booted" sometimes it will be just from messenger... at other times it will be your computer. you best bet is to set you messenger so that only people on ur messenger list can "im" you. that way booters have another thing to over come in order to boot you.

install more RAM
Many of today's systems simply do not ship with enough RAM, in my own opinion.

too many resources being used. too much for the computer to handle so it goes byebye.

u had to many programs and stuff on at one time.
