If you feel you may be pregnant, your best bet is to see your doctor for a blood pregnancy test, as this is the most accurate way of testing. Other reasons for period abnormalities include infection, illness, hormonal imbalance, thyroid, polyp, cyst, weight gain/loss, amongst other reasons. Please do see your doctor for testing to determine what the exact cause may be.

I dont mean to scare you but... When i was in my 20's i used to have the most irregular periods ever..sometimes i have no period for month and kept going to the doctor for pregnancy tests wich came out to be negative..and sometimes i had my period for weeks...
Years later my regular doctor was on vacation and he had a substitute working for him and he gave me a test wich came back positive to ovarien cancer.... all along all these years i been seeing a doctor and he never checked....thanks to this "new" doctor im now an 18 year cancer survivor... please go check that out... better safe then sorry

well i know you may think your not stressed but with you trying to get pregnant that alone can be stressful because you are awaiting the positive test. check with your doctor and make sure its not a result of any gyno problems. good luck to you!

Talk to your doctor, it could be something serious or nothing at all. If you've never had regular menstruation then it might be nothing, but if you always have had regular cycles then it might be serious.

Are you working out really hard? Sometimes when females are very physically active they don't get their periods.
