Unless the doctor has specifically said "no" then go for it!!
Docs are even finding out it can be better for you, it can prevent premature labor and the relationship between you and your partner will be less stressful. stress is something you really want to avoid in pregnancy!
but in the last trimester if your mucus plug breaks always use a condom to prevent infection.

Dont listen to any of these guys. Its perfectly safe and fine to have sex while your pregnant, unless there is a medical reason and the doctor has told you not to. The baby is safely behind your closed cervix and in the placenta. Just don't let your partner ejeculate inside of you. There is an enzyme in the sperm that will eat away at your plug. And can cause problems later in your pregnancy. When you start to show or are uncomfy with regular positions (like missonary) try other positions that are more comfy for you and your growing belly. Like rear entry (doggie style) spoon, and girl on top. I always found girl on top most comfy because you control the speed and depth of penetration. Good luck and have fun!

Yes it is. Your doctor will tell you the same thing. They used to say you could only do it until a certain time but now they say you can go at it from conception till labor if you want. They even tell you to do it to try and induce yourself (doesn't work by the way). I was so horny when pregnant with my son, my husband and I had sex about two or three times a day for the whole nine months! Pregnant sex is the best by the way. You have all this extra blood flow to the vaginal lips that makes things more sensitive. Give it a shot, you won't regret it!

It is perfectly fine for you to have sex while your pregnant.. it will not hurt the baby.. You can even have sex through your third trimester.. And it's a way to start labor when your around your 37-40th week!! Believe me the baby is cushioned enough so that he will not feel anything.. just don't lay on your back too long because the weight of the baby could put too much pressure on your spine and make your legs all tingly.. Go have fun!!

Yes it is perfectly fine. You will not hurt your baby. The only time it is not okay is if you have some serious health problems that have developed durring your pregnancy.
Talk to your Dr. or Mid-wife if you have any serious concerns. Otherwise, if you can, enjoy it. You may want to check out parenting.com there are some great articles about pregnancy there, and lots of great magazines these days!

Wow, the ignorance of some answerers! You should definitely check with your doctor, ob/gyn, or RN, but you should assume it would be OK to do tame, normal sex unless you have complications or certain risk factors. I'm not qualified to tell you yes or no, and you need to get a final answer from someone who is.
luvmusiq_02 has an excellent answer. I'd vote for hers if I were you.

yes it totally OK to have sex all through out the pregnancy unless the doctor tells you otherwise. I have three children and did it all the way. Any way I looked up a site for u to look it up so that you can fell safer and relaxed. Good luck with your baby.

ok , it's way up there for a reason, I wouldn't suggest any vigorous, wild crazy stuff, but it certainly isn't unsafe in any way.i also read some where that when a female orgasms when she's pregnant the baby may feel a pleasurable feeling/sensation, hey i just read or heard it somewhere there may be no turht to it. Be careful around your last month or so because you could induse labour i did, just thankful it was around the due date

Some people have such stupid answers. It is completely fine and don't believe the others who tell you not to. The only people that can't are the ones that have high risk pregnancies and if you do, your doctor will tell you. Sometimes it is not recommended in the last month, but even that is not usually the case. Ask your doctor.
