Why can't I interfere in a society on a nother planet, but it is perfectly fine if it is on another continent?

Another question- Does anybody know how to build a phaser and a communicator from scratch?

By the way, since I am not supposed to interfere, don't analyze my questions, and start thinking I am from the future or something. Just give me an answer before it is too late.

The stupid federation of planets...

You cannot interfere with other continents, only the primitive cultures of THIS world can (since they do NOT belong to the federation.)

I do know how, but if I told you, it would be a violation of the prime... you get the idea...

I would NEVER analyze your ideas, but we do have a transporter lock on you...

I never liked the prime directive.

It would change the show, if they didn't have it. They would travel the cosmos doing charity work.
