I've been a christian since I was 9 years old. I dated one of my church brothers for five years. We broke up two years ago because we found out we were cousins, actually his father broke us up cause we got to the point where we didn't care.

We had sex more than 5 times and all those times it wasn't something that we planned. I had to pray for forgiveness multiple times, so did he.

My Christian principles are that sex before marriage is fornication. Once you've had sex it is hard for you to not want more sex. I need to have more sex, but I vowed to not have sex again unless it is with my husband (whom I haven't met yet). So I masturbate, just to vent my sexual feelings. Is something wrong with that according to christian and biblical principles?

As a fairly traditional christian, I don't think you are going to find much religious support for masturbation. It may be less of a problem for women to masturbate (cf biblical prohibition against spilling one's seed), but I don't think you are going to find many traditional sources that support the practice.

Remeber that unclean thoughts themselves are sinful. Don't you think that masturbating will bring about unclean thoughts?

If you are a faithful worshiper and is devoted to your religion, then you will have to believe what your religion teaches! What is having a religion without following the teaching of it? Leave it or take it! Many religions teaches that masturbation is wrong! And they have reasons! Physically and emotionally, science agrees that mastubation is healthy and normal if done properly and not as an additction! Which will you follow?

According to some Christian principles, masturbation (onanism) is wrong. But I think technically, it is only wrong for the man because only the man can spill seed without procreation.

there is not much within the bible that directly opposes pre-maritial sex, but regardless... sexual urges are natural, and unrequited sexual tension can manifest itself into a number of other issues. personality and mood issues have been known to stem from sexual frustration. there is an old saying "sex can wait.... MASTURBATE" love yourself so you can love the world.

There is nothing in the Bible that says masturbation is wrong. It is usually the thoughts that accompany it that may be considered a sin.

I am a pretty strong Christian myself. And I do not believe it to be wrong. God wished us no premarrital relations, therefore masturbation should be and I believe is allowed.

You need to pull your head out of your butt and think for yourself. 'Religion' should not dictate your actions, especially not in a way that makes you miserable. Go get some condoms and get laid!
