Please include atleast...1) One a old movie (made more than 20 years ago) 2) a movie made 5-15 years ago. 3) a recent movie. So give me atleast 5! 1) Miracle on 34th Street [the original] ~ I know it is Christmas, but it is my all time favourite.
2) Cool Runnings ~ a good laugh and cry movie. [Comedy, based on True story, John Candy is wonderful]
3) Overboard ~ love Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell. [Romantic Comedy]
4) Mrs. Doubtfire ~ I love Robin Williams. Great laugh out loud kind of movie.
5) Braveheart is a good action movie.
Personally, I don't like Horror movies or scary ones.

Some good rentals are Roman Holiday (hubby got me to watch it), Cool Hand Luke and From the Terrace (Paul Newman is too cute), From Here to Eternity, Airplane, The Outsiders (one of my all time faves), Office Space, Princess Bride, Crash, Running Scared, 16 Blocks. I could go on and on-I love renting movies.
