Search your heart and soul. If they dictate that you would be happy in going to her house, by all means, go and have fun. In doing that, you would even give yourself a chance to know her better or even to be closer to her as a friend. Remember that popularity is a not a factor to consider in finding a true friend. Sincerity and kindness are.

Don't be bothered by what other people would say about your going there. You have your own life to live. Live it to the fullest by making wise decisions and, if eve rby chance you make mistakes along the way, use those mistakes to your advantage by using them as your lessons in life that will make you a better and stronger person.

Her inviting you over to her house is something that you should be glad about because that is a sure sign that she likes you and that could be the beginning of a possible closer friendship between the two of you.

Do as you please. Let your own reasons be your guide in your existence. You are not accountable to anyone for your own actions because your accountability is only to your own self and God. Choose the way you want to live your life and let not others control you.

I have only met one person in my 28 years of living that truly does not care what others think. I have more respect and think more highly of this person than anyone. There is a confidence level about people that do not concern themselves with other peoples judgements that is very attractive and people admire it. You're only young once go and have fun. If any of the more popular kids question you be sure to tell them how much fun you had.

A tough question with a simple answer and I think your gut feeling knows it.

Yes.

She could need friends in her life badly right now. Go. You have no idea what a difference it can make in a persons' life, seriously. It can take something as simple as showing up at a pool party to make a persons' day...

If you like her go, how would you feel if you invited someone you thought you were friends with to your party and they said they would like to go but don't want everyone to think they're uncool for associating with you? If you're that worried about it, make up a good excuse and don't go, but it's kinda cruel. You shouldn't worry so much about what others think of you. I'm 17 so obviously I get put in your position often, but I'm not that shallow. Your friends might pick on you a little bit, but won't stop being friends with you. If they do then they're not worth it anyways.

Truly cool people do what they want; and they make everything they do cool. Go to the party but dont make a big deal of it. If you act right you'll be cool with the girl throwing the party, the other 'cool' people, and most importantly cool with yourself.

Are you there to please others or yourself? Think about that for a minute. If you try to please others you do what they want, you become the puppet to your own demise. If you do what you wnat, it leads to greater happiness, at least as far as a relationship goes. I suggest you go to the pool party. Who cares if people don't think you're cool? Sounds like you're in middle school or high school, and yeah peer pressure can be a bit nerveracking but i gurantee you, half your own friends you will never see ever again, at least to where you realize its them. have fun, mingle, you never know- you might regret it if you don't.

I think you should go! Anyone who is willing to go to a party and make this girl happy even though shes not in "the in crowd" has a better rep. in my eyes

If you want to go... go! Life's too short to worry about if she's popular or not. It's not going to matter a week from now or a month from now, so have fun!
