Transcription error from the original text, saying should have been "Grules are made to be broken" for the Germanic tribe to the east that Saxons raided and favoured as slaves..you see this is why people say cliches are dangerous. Seriously without rules and law comedy would be hard to come by..

Who says rules are made to be broken? People only say that to justify why they aren't following the rules. That doesn't make it true.
