report them as spam and add them to the ignore addresses list.

don't check them or just ignore sender or u can have them sent to bulk and delete them without checkin em b/c u know there junk

delete them? or just block the sender from sending anymore mails, especially spam.. if they're from ur friends, try not to read the forwarded stuff.. most of the times they're crap anyways.. that's what i do.. i only read 1% of the total mails in my mailbox..
