It's sad, but I thought about this question, and I honestly can't think of a single place that is totally safe. Even if you pick a remote area with no people to gunk it up, you have the pollution problem, west nile virus, bird flu, mad cow, skin cancer from the ozone depletion, the more I think about it, the more depressed I get....

safety is an illusion
i'd say australia is safest... mainly because we are isolated and we have never had a war within our country (besides darwin being bombed by the Japs)
we have every race here and will probably not get hit within the country because the arabs and asians have too much invested in this country.

Live life dangerously! That's what I was told. Who would want to live in a neighborhood where nothing happens. Of course, I would not live in a violent neighborhood as well. No where is safe, just be smart enough to avoid them.

I see England was selected here? The police in England are probably shooting more innocent people than the terrorists are killing, they receive 'information'!! and nip out and shoot people, esp' if the suspect has a beard.
I would go along with the guy who suggested New Zealand.

why are you looking for some place safe. because i don't think there is any place that is safe any more. we just came home from the doctors and stopped at the store and while waiting in the car my son and i wittiness a drug deal. we live in woodlawn tennessee

England, the police officers there don't carry guns but they do in the USA plus there's no death penalty there.

thats acutally a really hard question, the usa has so much violence, i dont know, its a hard guess. maybe space lol, nothing much up there, well least of harmful things.

new zealand.no one seems to have a beef with them.and Antarctica.you can spot a suicide bomber from miles away.
