I'm a cracker but i use to think i was black so i was a rap junky, my thoughts on rap are its took a horrible turn south, meaning once us southern folks got a hold on it, all ur gonna hear is a hook and beat and horrible lyrics, so with jay-z gone and nas not doing much the birth place of hip-hop isn't putting out quality rap its putting out wack fag 50 cent and papose or however u spell gay-mo's name, i miss rap back when the southern rap consisted of playa fly and the old 3-6, and some do or die and crucial conflict, its sad really and I'm sorry if i made u cry thinking of the good ole days of rap, but i had to keep it real.

I don't like it almost all of the time, no matter if you're black, white or anything else. It's just that most of it is really offensive (maybe not to guys but to girls, it is). So yeah. Some is ok, but more R&B style rap is better a lot of times.

I am white and like alot of rap. But mostly old (Tupac, NWA, Dr. DRE, Jayz, Nas etc.) Of the new rap I pretty much only like dance hits. I love to dance I have been dancing since I was three.
For people to find it offensive when they rap about drugs, violence, and degrading women. Rappers are just like every artist who are portraying their lives through their music, art and poetry. This is their therapy in life.

I like some rap music. A lot of rap music I've heard uses the 'n word' which I don't like to hear anyone say. Other than that I can listen to rap.

Rap, or "retards attempting poetry" as I call it, requires no skill and no talent. All that is required, is to know some words that rhyme and own a drum machine and a mike.
Playing an intrument requires both talent and aquired skill, and singing at least requires a good voice, some talent, and some skill.

I love rap music...and all types of other music. Good music is an art form no matter what it is. I don't let the music control who I am, I just listen to it and if it is good, I keep listening. If you don't like it, you can hit fast forward (Jay-Z lyric).

Listening to rap lyrics really gives valuable information about what blacks think. Specifically, it reveals that depraved violence, dehumanization of others, drug use, complete devaluation of women, and the most intense racism are what it means to be black. Blacks think that is normal, even admirable.
Not all blacks. Just most blacks. Good reason to avoid any of them who aren't obviously different. Obviously different in this case means educated, church going and engaged in behaviors important to society, including valuable upper echelon jobs. Too few blacks are like that.....way too few.
