Do yourself a favour, my friend - get rid of Windows Millennium Edition. Read the blogs on ME and see what I mean.
Even Microflop and Big Bill himself have condemned it as a pure pile of bug-loaded dung!
Try Win 2K - a very stable and reliable operating system (I work for British Telecom, and they use it!) as it probably works better than their phones and broadband system!
Which Yahoo Messenger are you wanting to d/load?
What country are you in?
Have you enough hard-drive space to d/load it (file is about 11.2Mb for the latest version)

yes all you need to do is go to the start menu and shut down and then log back on and then go back the start menu and shutdown again. repeat 82 times and it should work
