Not many people are as familiar with the work of Dr. Alfred Kinsey as they should be, but he was the first person to look at human sexuality from a purely medical standpoint, and says that instead of 3 categories (homo-, hetero-, and bi-sexual), ie black/white/gray, there is a gray scale associated with sexual preference.
50% of Dr. Kinsey's subjects (approx.) fell into the number zero, meaning that they wer completely heterosexual. Approx 5-10% of males and 2-6% of females are 6's, totally homosexual. This leaves 40-48% of the population somewhere in between, with 3 being completly bisexual and the rest various shades of gray.
If you find that you are attracted to only one girl, you may considered a Kinsey 1 - almost heterosexual, but with very few homosexual tendencies. If you are not especially attracted to her physically, but only emotionally, you may just being going through a phase.
Sexuality can be one of the most difficult things to discover about yourself - don't be discouraged if you get confused.
Also - I obviously do not know your friends, but I was amazed and how supportive and/or nonchalant people were when I would ask them about problems with a girl. Ask your very best friends what they think, but remember not to accept their verdict just because. It is your sexuality, and your life. We're all trying to be as happy as possible.
Hope this was of some help.

Nope, if you are having more romactic feeling for other girls but still also like men then you may be bisexual or just wondering. Thinking about other kinds of love between different people is natural. If you think it is something more then just wondering then you should look into what it truely means to be a bisexual woman. Watch out for the stereotypes, you can get them from both sides. I would look at The Human Rights Campaign under bi ( http://www.hrc.org/Content/NavigationMenu/Coming_Out/Get_Informed4/Coming_Out_as_Bi/Coming_Out_as_Bisexual.htm ) and Bialogue.

No, love comes in many forms. Just because you "love" a girl doesn't mean you are sexually attracted to them. It just means that you admire her, enjoy being with her, and keep thinking about her. It doesn't mean you want to tear her clothes off or any other girls' for that matter. Enjoy the feeling of "love" that comes with a great friendship.

no not at all, people that study sex have found that sexuality is best thought of a continum, there's even a name for it called the Kinsey scale. the scale is:
Rating Description
0 Exclusively heterosexual
1 Predominantly heterosexual, only incidentally homosexual
2 Predominantly heterosexual, but more than incidentally homosexual
3 Equally heterosexual and homosexual
4 Predominantly homosexual, but more than incidentally heterosexual
5 Predominantly homosexual, only incidentally heterosexual
6 Exclusively homosexual
below is a link to the larger article about it.

Such categorizing might not be easy as there're no set limits for the one or the other. You view yourslef in such divisions only on the basis of sexual preferences, which may not be lasting.
