My husband was falsy accused of a felony, 3 years ago. Since then the co-conspirator has come forth and told who was really with her when her father was robbed, and told why she lied. My husband recieved 24 years and she was released after her testimony. Her father now also states that the man that robbed him keeps threaten him, he also gave the name of the other man.(on a police report) Constitutional rights was violated repeatly. He had an attorney, but we found out after the fact that it was he first real trial, so he wasn't ready for that case. Unlawful inprisonment is the case in this matter. I did all the foot work, I have all the necessary paper work, We just need a mouth piece that is not scared to fight. I also have a notirized statement from the co-conspiritor.I need some help. All we ask is to be treated fair.
the girl went to the detective and recanted and they say that that's not enough to reopen the case, but it was enough to convict him. No physical evidence at all.

You are best to let him get a jail house lawyer( an Inmate who is well read on the laws) He can guide you in the right direction. Your husband should know this if he has already been locked up for 3 years. He can file all of his own appeals first and see where it goes from there. Good Luck

Take it to the newspapers and TV stations. Send out the basic facts as a press release mentioning that full details on the story will be given to the first that wishes to take the story national.
Hope this inspires you

Take it to an investigative show like 20/20 or 60 minutes, or even a local show in your area. Nothing spurs people to right a wrong like the glare of publicity.

I have not but a friend of mine has. He had some chick spend the night over at his place, they drank, they had sex. She got up the next morning and was acting a little weird. Later that day a police officer came over and questioned him saying he was being accused of rape. After further investigation it was dismissed and he was never arrested and I stand behind my friend, he would not rape a girl.

You mean Probono but you can always call A few attorneys in that area. It doesnt hurt to ask them if they will work on contingency. Best of success to you and your husband in this matter
