I've honestly never heard of this and I can only find one reference to that name:

Are you sure you are not asking about the Civil Rights Movement?

During the 60's there was the Civil Rights movement which involved Blacks--ther was no Latino Movement-being able to eat in Restaurants, sit anywhere on the bus, have the right to vote, have all the rights of American Citizenship. There were some Migrant Worker issues during that time which involved mainly from South America migrant workers-again Civil Rights-better pay, housing etc.

How was it? That's an odd way to pose your question. Do you mean what was it?
It was a civil rights movement, primarily for the rights of blacks and in some ways for women. Latinos were not a driving force in this era as they had a very low population per capita.
Latinos are not a race, but people born in a Latin country; they can be of any race; Asian, Caucasian or *******. There are only these three races on the planet. The rest are ethnicity, NOT races.
