i sounds like the virus recognizes that you are running a virus scan using a jump drive (stick drive)

download( meaning when you download hit save and not run and save it to the drive) avg free edtion and
ad-aware from another computer unto the drive.

( these are free programs availible to anyone that work really well)

go into your computer in normal mode and turn off the system restore.

this is so that the virus hidden in restore files once deleted can't return.

then restart in safe mode

once in safe mode first delete your cookies
then your temporary files
empty you recycle box
then run a clean disk to free up space.
you do this cause a lot of times this is where the virus hides in recent internet stuff.

then :
start with the avg and run a full scan

then follow with the adaware.

is that doesn't work look up the virus using a search engine and try and get a program tailored to that virus. download it to the jump drive. but rename the file so that the virus can't recognize it.

i know this sounds strange but i work in IT and virus' are getting "smarter"

I also had a virus and when I'd scan it'd delete it, but not all of it so it'd just come right back. Take it to Best Buy's Geek Squad ASAP before it just takes over your whole computer. You have something serious that obviously isn't coming off. The Geek Squad uses all of their software to try and get it off, but if they can't get it off then they'll get rid of everything and reinstall the programs... this costs about $100 I believe. I hope that your computer is cleaned off soon, viruses are no fun :]

i imagine warmth is the issue the following, the vents on laptops are weak to clogging or perhaps as airflow is constrained the computer overheats. try getting some canned air and blow it by the vents to sparkling them. If that doesn't artwork you want to guage some extra serous probability's: examine the means jack on the decrease back of the pc, I have considered quite a few of those who cracked ensuing in a adverse electric powered connection. make positive that the fan on the pc is spinning, many times even as a fan dies it makes a impressive deal of noise, yet each and every once and a lengthy time period this style of followers fails silently.

You might have to reformat, or take it in to be serviced. If it's really bad the hard drive might just have to be scrapped because there are some viruses that attach and cant be completely eradicated.
