I'm pretty sure they incinerate it, but it would all depend on where you are in the world. Probably some places bury it.

I think they throw together with medical trash, because its decompose, they might add some chemical, the kind f treated trash before the total disposal, or they incinerate all together.
I am not sure if I am right, I am not an expert on this, but this is what makes sense to me, for now.

there taken away to a incinerator off site and destroyed .i know from personal knowledge a platoon mate got his arm so badly mangled in a i.e.d explosion that had to take off above the elbow .
