I am a total goof when it comes to applying self tanners and I don't really like to go tanning either. Usually what I do is go in a UV-free bed [it's better for you but not GREAT] to get a little bit of base color and then I use the Jergen's lotion that gradually darkens your skin every day. I have yet to mess that up! But I always tan a little bit first [only for 9 min in a UV-free bed] before I start using it, just so I have a base.

Also, I've had good results with the L'Oreal Sublime self-tanner...and airbrushing tanning is a godsend! That's when a person airbrushes on self-tanner on your whole body...that way there's no streaks because an actual person is doing it. But it runs for about $60 and I can't afford to do that very often! But when I do, it's AWESOME!

There is no way to get a nice tan without killing your skin. You can try some of the self tanners but they usually turn your skin orange. Find a bronzer that you like and use that.

All those self tanning things and bronzers and lotions and whatver are all just chemicals which are damaging your skin

Why not just put on sunscreen and forget about the tan..in fact you may realize that as you're out in the sun you've picked upa NATURAL TAN :O.haha plus even if you don't thats okay we're all different and that's what makes us all great
