yes, moving is hard, a change in our environment , our home life and things that are familiar to us is hard to get used to the change.
but this could be good also. since computers and cell phones, its easier to stay in touch with your old friends.
when you get to your new house, ask your parents if you could have a small( stress the word small) get together for the kids in your neighborhood before school starts up again.
just have picnic and juice,
you have to go where your parents go even though its hard at first.
it will take at last 4 months maybe longer. but give it chance. and time
time will help. maybe ask to go to library some kids hang at library in summer, or the roller rink, or try the mall. or a park. might run into a neighbor kid at one of these places.
good luck and sorry that this might not have helped. but changes are hard.

Moving is kinda hard. I moved 8 times even before I was teen. Just think of it as a fresh start and don't worry about friends, they're easy to find.

I know how you feel, my family wants to move too but I dont. I have all my friends here and I'm happy where I am, also I don't want to be teased all over again and be bullied. I wish that parents could ask us kids how we feel.

moving is difficult for everyone involved, but it may also be a blessing in disguise. you may find friends that you would never have unless you moved, you get to live in a different place (change of scenery does everyone good). don't worry about it too much, life is about change. you'll be fine.

Look at it as an adventure. An opportunity to make new friends, learn about new people, see new places. Look at the bright side!
