needes on the back of the desktop or is their a way of getting dial up on a dell these days?

When you customize the computer you can choose a dial-up modem. Pre-configured ones usually have a dial-up modem. Dude, don't buy a dell.

I bought a Dell in December and used dial-up for 3 months, then went to DSL. The PC had all the connections and modems needed.

I got my Dell in Feb. of this year. Should be 2 phone jack things on the back of the computer. I don't even know what ethernet cord is. I am on Dial UP
