sure stretching will make your toe touches look better. you should definitely stretch a lot everyday. but there are other things you can do to get more height to your jump. you need to build up certain muscles in your legs along with the stretching.

start in a squat position with your legs apart. make sure the squat position is pretty low-- about halfway down. then jump up as high as you can and when your feet come back to the ground go right back into your squat position. just keep jumping like that-- jump squat jump squat.

Okay Firstly, STRETCH LIKE CRAZY
make sure you're warmed up and in the zone before you do anything
keep stretching
gradually push yourself to bend your body a little bit more but don't overdo it. and just keep trying
and there is probably something else regarding your form although I wouldn't know becuase I am not a cheerleader

Practice and muscle. Also use your arms to throw yourself in the air....the secret of figure skaters. The more you stretch your muscles on a daily basis, the more flexible you will be. That is how to do the splits too. Good luck and happy cheering.

Stretch for at least an hour or more! Then practice on a trampoline!
