I think they're cute in a slutty bad girl kinda way, but definitely not classy. Hot on a stranger, not on a girlfriend... but a lot of guys will totally disagree with me on this.

No...I don't personally.
I find it to be something that shows how much pain you are willing to tolerate, but also that you are someone who will do something so rash that it'll affect the rest of your life. I mean if the tongue ring or bolt, is even minisculey off, you could loose your sense of taste, and be stuck with a speech impediment for the rest of your life.
Not to mention the tooth enamel damage that goes along with a tongue bolt...yuck (and painful). Go ahead and tap a metal object lie a fork or metal pen against t your teeth really hard, and that's how it'll feel for the first few weeks after you get your tongue bolt. It'll happen at least once a day on average until you get good at controlling it. So if you do decide to get it, make sure and pick up a bottle of aspirin too...
And trust me, not guy likes the fact that you have a bolt through your tongue if you happen to orally please him...it'll feel like a foreign object that's out of place and god forbid if a sharp edge or decoration on the bolt catches on some skin on his penis...he'll scream like you did when you got the tongue ring.
If you are looking to impress a guy, just be personable, and show who you are and if he's right you'll both be happy together. Because trust me, if you don't happen to Be right for each other and you do get the tongue ring or lip ring...it's permanent, whereas he isn't.
I say nay, but do what you will.

I like them on girls who would be a one night stand or just for sex, but they just put out that image...that you're a whore...They're not for classy girls and I would never date a girl who had one.
