Any types of "ism" starts from a fear. It is usually a fear of difference. The more we interact with one another and learn that we are all people, the more racism disappears.
Although sadly I agree that everyone if they think hard at themselves has small racist tendancies. Even odd comments about the French that I often here the British Say.
Canadians make "racist" comments about Americans every day but they think it is ok because it isn't really an ism.

This subject will always appear. Racism will never go away due to the fact that we are all humans and not many humans can forgive and forget!! The reasons for this hatred can be many and depends on experiences people have had, bad experiences are more likley to be passed on through family and friends.

We are very slowly getting there and progress has been done to teach youngsters that we are all the same but its adults that breed racism and we need them to understand this before we can rid everyone of racism. But this islamic thing is certainly taking us back a few steps

i agree with purpleheartkat. if we didnt have all these bloody immigrants, we wouldnt have this problem. do u know they come here and are given housing before others who have been waiting on the list for years? i was told this by a housing officer! they just walk into housing and benefits and are helped more than our own people. they get it all because if they dont, then they cry racism. it makes me sick. do u think u'd get the same treatment if u went to their country? no way.

The government needs to learn to treat all people equally.
Right now all the immigrants have all the high paying jobs, this is
NOT at all fair and acceptable!
