There's really no getting around removing the orange without losing the tan. Depending on what type of product you used, the top layers of your skin are either dyed or the proteins have finished an irreversible reaction.
The good news is that the airbrushed tans fade quickly. The top layer of your skin will recycle fully after 5-7 days. If you want to accelerate this process, buy a loofah sponge, get in the shower, and go to work scrubbing off the top layer of your skin. This will remove the orange, but also generally remove your color.
And if these methods don't work: wear covering clothing, and purchase a foundation for your face that has a little bit of green tint in it to hide the orange.
Good luck!

I have heard that using lemon juice after a salt scrub will lighten it and even it up. I've done it after using self tanning products that didn't turn out right and it almost looked like a real tan afterwards.

Unfortunately, the orange is the tan.... you can try exfoliating, but don't scrub too hard!

tomato paste ... anything with tomatos ... just rub it on ... maybe even some vinegar ... something mildly acidic ... that will cut the stain ... good luck
