americans who know nothing about canada.....who are stupid and ignorant when it comes to canadian health care systems and as for pot....leave it to the americans to know all about it....Our cops don't get murdered and our people walk the streets after dark and remove me from this stupid program as americans don't know what the hell they are talking about

Oh that's right, they want jobs. If you keep telling people how great Canada is maybe someone will fall for it and go there.

I cannot begin to tell you how bigoted your question (which isn't actually a question) really is. Do you actually think it's possible to decry all Americans (some 300 million of us) based on a couple of answers you received to questions online? 300 million people of differing backgrounds, ethnicities, and circumstances. That's quite a few people to sum up so arrogantly.

I'd also like to point out that "our cops don't get murdered" is patently ridiculous. On officer was murdered in Ontario -this week- in Canada. And of course your police are going to be murdered from time to time, just like anyone else's. It's a violent world.

As for spelling, you failed to capitalize "Canada" and you've omitted some punctuation, such as ending your rant with a proper period.

And if you're leaving as you say, I don't think you'll be missed if you approach things with such negativity and obvious bias. Good luck out there. You'll need it.

i did not answer your questions and i do not appreciate being called a stupid American ,look at what you wrote you sure show a lot of intelligence for the Canadian people ,i have chatted with several people from Canada and they were not at all rude like you and as far as our cops being killed that was pretty low of you to say that sure some of our police have been killed but they was in the line of duty and left behind a family ,and for your information we can walk the streets at night to so talk what you no ,and as far as pot goes who cares about it in your country or ours its still a drug just like alcohol and any other drug ,don't get on here and down the American people and expect us to take it ,it wont happen and if you don't wont to be on this site GET OFF no one is holding you here and if you don't like what i said IM me i will be glad to chat with you

Sorry Mags but as a fellow Canadian you are not exactly presenting a pretty picture of Canadians yourself.

Life isn't fair...but all Americans are not stupid. I know many Americans and individually they are wonderful people. Now collectively...might be another story...but that's not necessarily a true portrayal of your average American propagated by the media and their ridiculous obsession with celebrities.

And then of course there's George Dubya...enough said.

It's sad that you are so judgmental. You are missing out on meeting nice people. I feel sorry for you. :( I read through your questions and you are clearly hostile towards Americans, so that might be why you recieved the answers that you did. Interesting since most of the Canadians I've met living along the border are really great people.

Take a deep breather. I am Canadian too! But.....although we are taught quite a bit more about US politics, Geography, etc, we also have the advantage of multiple TV stations being US stations and broadcasting US information. Anyhow, they do not have alot of Canadian channels and Canadian information in their face so really we can't get upset. How much do we know about Africa, or Australia really? You sort of absorb information from the environment around you.

That's really harsh, I know some Americans and they are the nicest people ever.Especially one. So you shouldn't really generalise,just because you had a couple of stupid answers,doesn't mean the whole country is bad.
