Pip and Estella met in London. She was remarried and they did not meet again -- they were apart forever.

You remember they stay togtehr in the published version.

in the original ending pip and estella were not to meet again. she remains married and i think pip emigrates. but dickens was suggested by someone to alter the ending and make it a happier one. so, in the published version pip meets stella in miss havishams house before going from the country.
