When I try to help her stop crying she just gets worse. What should I do to get her to stop the crying?

She does not need therapy or a priest to talk to. Just me to say the right thing.

If she's stressed and on emotional overload, she will cry more easily...most women are that way. If you want to be supportive, you need to let her cry, it's her way of letting out all the stress that she's feeling in the moment. Just be there for her, hold her while she cries, reassure her that you're there for her so that she doesn't feel so alone.

Sometimes girls cry when they get stressed or even angry and sometimes the crying makes us feel better. The best thing you can do for your girlfriend is to not say anything but instead just hold her and let her know you are there for her

Sometimes the best thing to say is nothing at all. Try just listening to her and once she's gotten all of what she wants to say out, just let her know that you're there for her and will help in whatever way you can, and if she does ask you to help...DO IT! and actually act like you want to help and care
