All the same!
For people who are making fun of those who claim everything is about oil. There's also this little fact:
The Alaska state constitution claims common heritage rights of ownership of oil and other minerals for the people of the state as a whole. Citizen dividend checks are distributed every year in Alaska out of the interest payments to an oil royalties deposit account called the Alaska Permanent Fund (APF) created in 1976 after oil was discovered on the North Slope. The APF is a public trust fund - a diversified stock, bond and real estate portfolio - into which are deposited the oil royalties received from the corporations which extract the oil from the lands of Alaska. The first citizen dividend check from the interest of the APF was issued in 1982 and was for $1000 per every person for everyone in Alaska who had resided in the state for at least one year. Annual citizen dividends have been issued every year since then, for a total of more than $23,000 per person.
In 2003, each of the nearly 600,000 Alaska US citizens (residents of Alaska for at least one year) received a check for $1,107 from the APF. The total amount dispersed was $663.2 million. The $25 billion investment fund's core experienced stock market losses which led to the dividend's decline this past year compared to the several previous years. The amount was $433 less, a 28 percent drop from the 2002 pay out of $1,540, and a 44 percent decrease from the all-time high of $1,964 in year 2000. The amount changes based on a five-year average of APF investment income derived from the bonds, stock dividends, real estate and other investments.
Alaska relies on oil for about 80 percent of its revenue and has no sales or income tax. Alaska state government is mandated to invest 25% of its oil revenue into the APF while the other 75% of oil royalty revenue is dispersed to other government funds to finance education, infrastructure and social services. If 100% of Alaska's oil royalties had been deposited into the APF, it is conceivable that the CD this year could have been about $4,400 or $17,600 for a family of four. But then there would have been no funds for roads, education and other public services and no funds available to run the state legislature - a libertarian dream fulfillment or a social and economic disaster, which one we will never know. If state services were to have been maintained while 100% of oil royalties were deposited in the APF, there would of course have been the need for income, sales and other taxes on wages and production.

I believe that any American who lives an American lifestyle (even if it is prudent and thrifty) and claims to be a far left liberal for human rights around the world, the environment, and disrespects elected government officials because their views don't coincide with their own....is a bigger hypocrite than Republicans. Independents are too scattered in their views to be able to accurately say they are hypocrites. It's not that they won't take a stand on either side...it's just that they believe in certain things from both sides. People I believe come before everything when it involves being an Independent. That seems to be the truth with Dems also, but there is too much of a fumbled track record there.

I am a Republican but I am not saying the obvious Democrat.
I think Independents are the biggest hypocrites. There is no such thing as an Independent - you lean to one side or the other. You just could not get elected in the party you wanted.

I think that Democrats are the bigger hypocrites, but that may have something to do with the fact that I am a proud member of the Republican party.
I think that D's do more to harm the little people, the minorities, and the poor than most people know.

both are because both are liberals and liberalism=hypocrisy Republicans are slightly more desirable hypocritical because a minimum of Democrats admit to being liberals at the same time as Republicans pretend to be conservatives till eventually after the election at the same time as they exhibit their real colorings. To the fellow who suggested:Republicans. What freedoms are you claiming democrats have taken faraway from you? provide up observing top-wing media - its no longer some thing yet propaganda." the position could I commence; How about freedom of speech because of McCain FineGold and how about freedom of religion with the Gaytheist faith being pressure fed in public colleges and the liberals attempting to regulate the definition of marriage and pressure non secular people to pay taxes to help issues G-d is adversarial to (like taxes to pay for coverage for companions of gays). How about freedom to persue happiness with each and each of the regulations and intense taxes and guidelines adversarial to corporation. California has an $800 fee someone ought to pay, only to commence a corporation till now even incomes the first dollar. How

Its close but conservatives are the biggest hypocrites. Allow me to elaborate.
1. George Bush talks about speaking to god and using gods principles. George Bush was also apart of Skull and Bones, a secret society Involved in occult rituals and shady dealings. He was also caught at the Bohemian Grove with other Republicans. The Bohemian grove is a place were Global Elite of society gather for a week of festivaties. There you will find men dressed as the ancient Druids doing mock sacrifices of a woman to an owl god.
2. Bob Dole. Wants a ban on violent movies. However he has helped out movies involving Arnold Schwarzenegger, or anybody on the republican donor list list. Bruce willis, and Sylvester Stallone.
3.Rush Limbaugh. A man who said drug users should get life in Prison. Is himself a drug addict who has battled drug addiction now for years. He was also gung ho for going to war even though he got out of going to Vietnam for having a sore on his ***.
4. Pat Buchanan. This waste of skin was all for the Iraq war, just as long as he didn't have to fight. This jerk weasled his way out of Vietnam by claiming he had a knee injury. Interestingly he's been an avid jogger for years.
5. Newt Gingrich. This husband of the year spends time talking about punishing those who get divorced with heavy taxes. He wants little government help for those who have children but don't get married. Of course this republican nutcase has been married four times. He also brought his two Daughters and a note pad to the hospital with his terms for divorce for his wife who was still groggy from cancer surgery. Than a year later his ex-wife had to take him to court because he wouldn,t pay his alimony.

I don't think either are bigger. I think they have people in it that are hypocrites, but the parties as a whole has nothing to do with specific candidates or officers. The party is about all the peoples' beliefs that are in it.
You should check one of my questions... it really talks a lot about the whole party things. It's all foolish.
