Good question given the grizzly/polar bear hybrid found recently. It's probably not possible for us. All the great apes, except for humans, have 24 pairs of chromosomes. Humans have 23. A hybrid probably wouldn't survive gestation. A chimp/gorilla or chimp.orangutan may be possible. Most likely may be a bonobo/chimp, with chimp as mother.

Sasquatch. If one listens long enough to Art Bell type shows, some callers actually think Sasquatch is the hybrid result of a mating of a human to a great ape. If such a mating took place, the gorilla would have to be the mother. In the case of a hybrid chimp-human, the mother would have to be human.

The size differences mean the female of the larger species would have to be mated to the male of the smaller species. It's a pretty sick thought considering humans and chimps and bonobos are so closely related.

I wouldn't be surprised if some sicko in Korea or China isn't working on this right now. Just think, breed a race of big, dumb semi-himan fighting men.

The monsters would be pretty big (hybrid vigor), hairy, and stooped posture. Their heads would look more human, especially if the monster was chimp-human. But it would be ghastly no matter who mated to who or what.

PROBABLY nothing..

i may be wrong but it seems that the genetics wouldnt match close enough to produce a living offspring (if one at all) But yeah if anything were to be produced, it would suffer from severe mental and physical developmental problems.

It's not possible, unless of course you are genetic scientist. Also, why the hell would we ever want this to happen? I mean honestly, humans are already as dumb as a box of rocks, why make a dumber one?

It is not genetically possible. Beside every one knows that is how Aids began in Africa. It was just on Yahoo new less than one week ago.

We are not closely enough related for that to be possible.
