If you're talking about the original V3, then, no it does not have expandable memory. Its bigger brothers like the V3i have expandable memory via the Transflash/microSD slot.

No, it doesn't. I really don't understand why teenagers go crazy about the RAZR V3... It is not really that cool after all. If you like the design, get the V3i which has expandable memory, or wait for the V3x, which will come with a 2MP camera, plus usb 2.0, the memory expansion slot, and maybe... iTunes, which is way better that the Motorola mp3 player.

I'm not really sure about the original V3 and the other V3c, V3x, etc. Though, I'm sure that the V3i does have an expandable memory drive. You can out SD memory cards on it making more room for pictures, music, video, games, etc.

The memory is 5.5 MB with 1000 locations
But this unit does not have expandable memory.
Other that came later do have that option.
