Maniacs would have mania, right? So maybe they experience euphoric "highs" and do what they think feels good at the time, like being really social at 3 in the morning. Maniacs are happy... sociopaths are the bad ones. One percent of the population in the US are sociopaths and they account for 50% of all serious crimes commited in the US, weird huh?

well, I wake up after about five hours of sleep. Then I drink coffee. Much coffee is consumed. Depending on my mood I either feel like shooting things or going relay fast. fast is easy, I have an RX7, 130mph on the highway 4th gear, still have 5th...not a problem. Dirt bike through woods real fast, jump,ride down middle of road, always wearing nothing but shorts and a Kmart smock; from when I worked there of course. Shooting also easy, have an AR15. shoot at the junk trucks in my friends yard, here in the hills of NH no one cares! Shards of window and battery acid flying all over the place. Blast song birds out of the sky with my 12 GA, all the while drinking Captian Morgan and koolaid. Jump on my car in the parking lot of work and start dancing to Who is Mike Jones blasting over my system. stay up for 48 consecutive hours playing Diablo2, card games, snorting cocaine, smoking Marlborough menthol's, and drinking medium coffees; double caramel flavoring extra sugar regular cream. Go outside at the crack of dawn to find a board to throw knives at and stand out in 45 degree weather in your underwear trying to teach yourself how to throw knives. Flex biceps, triceps, pecs etc at the most absurd times. call all girls 'bitches'. scream the lyrics to RUSH-working man at the top of your lungs on your way to McDonald's for the 8th time this month. Above all maniacs just don't give afuck!

Whatever they do... it is to the EXTREME. They are Manic about it. Thus, they are maniacs.
