Ciara--supermodel statis is but one--very limited area of modeling--It is taged as such because the gals (and guys) that do the work are ususlly on the short list (no pun intended) for the super accounts of the world (name designers / promo agencies and product manufactures)----but there are many other categories of modeling work in which individuals with the right looks and the drive can break in and avhieve some phemominal success...The interesting thing here is that almost all of the people who populate the Supermodel List got their start in a number of other modeling fields... The average height of the Supermodel gals is around the 5'9"--5'10" area ...But many models working the Print--Industrial Model --Glamour and Specialty markets are somewhat shorter---I myself have worked a number of accounts for heavy duty clients with models in the 5'5" to 5'8" range---these are markets where the long and slender look is not sooo important as to limit the models availabe to do a terriffic job...The sadest thing to me is that so much emphasis is placed on Supermodel ideals that many great looking , talented and motivated individuals are discouraged to pursue possible modeling careers because of a misguided idea that if you don't qualify for that type of statis then your hopes for a great career is absolutely naught---which could not be farther from the truth---I have been a certified model consultant for well over 15 years --have shot thousands of portfolios and fashion layouts and have worked with thousands of people And made a marvelous career and I have never shot a single sequence with a "Supermodel" --long story short--if you photograph well and have the desire and the drive---at 5'7" you still can make it and do so in high style

From 5"9 to 6"9 my friend is a super model and they said you should be around 6" feet tall and very skinny but i dont think supermodels should me really skinny casue no one is that skinny

5'7 will cut it if you are just wanting to have fun and do small gigs for no pay.

the shortest supermodel came from barbizon angency(my agancy) she was about 5'2 but the height your supose to be is 5'8 or taller but thats only for teen and adult runway it really depends on what you want to do in modeling if u want to do photos then it doesnt really matter about your hieght but if you want to do runway your probly about the perfect size dont worrie because i am 5'2 and i do runway so dont worry just have fun ... good luck!

I believe supermodels are routinely over twelve feet tall, as I remember. So no, you're regretably too short.

Height isn't a very big factor in becoming a model though. It's more how well you work with cameras and how good you luck and stuff.
