I wonder that same thing too...
Looking around at everything in this world, though, it seems impossible to credit so many things to a single mind. I mean, the individuality of each and every snowflake seems to scream that our lives are merely chance and nothing more... We are a cycle of moving energy, and all of creation is merely the form energy has taken.

There's no way for us to know for sure.
Our whole universe could be just the daydream of some magical bug in a paralel universe, but there would be no way for us to realize if this is so.
