Because you are a human organism. The entire system evolved together, with much feedback from one system to another because that has high survival value. Why do you question it; it works! It's Mother Nature's way.

Because one cant work without the other... Digestion needs the circulatory (for cells energy) and digestion converts food into inergy (which provide the heart with energy) the blood has to be filtered (by the kidneys) and that comes the waste system (dont remember the name now...) the nervous system helps regulate all of that to make sure nothing goes wrong (or brings your attention to it, ex: cut.) Did i miss any other systems...?
