I get emails that say....free laptops if.......and i amswer the question......or three items if you answer the questions....i amswer...then a window that says, not available in your area. discrimination we too spend money on products and items and America is no better then canada

Don't worry about it. Those are mostly scams anyway. Nobody ever gets the free stuff.

It's because most Canadians are not dumb enough to answer silly internet marketing scams saying that you have won a prize for nothing.
No, not true... sorry! lol
It's actually because most of the companies that use Spamming as a form of marketing are located in the states... you just sit tight. Canada will catch on sooner than we'd like.
But, as another answer stated... the population is FAAAAAR more in the US, and therefore, there will always be more US companies marketing through Spam.
You really shouldn't answer those emails though, it just tells the marketers that you are willing to answer and then they sell your email address to everyone.

Canada has a smaller population than California. I'm sure you get prizes proportionately. Be happy you didn't "win" they are all scams and will cost you in the end.

The Canadian government does not allow Canadians to win something for nothing. That's why many contests require Canadians to answer math questions to win their prize.
