Happened with me when I lay dying, I could understand from the doctors faces and their body language that they had given up. My wife held my hand, kissed me on my forehead and said, "Don't worry, you'll be fine."
Four years later, I am still alive, only because of this strong woman's reassurance at every stage during my illness and recovery. And she never cried, never shed a tear at all in my presence or in my children's presence, always showing a brave, smiling face to us.

At one stage when my heart had stopped, and I found myself in a large open field with sunflowers, and I saw a bright warm and welcoming light towards which I was moving, until the doctors revived me, the first person I saw was my wife.

That smile, the strength, that reassurance and confidence are the nicest things that have ever happened to me.

...Well this will sound like I'm over dramatic, but this really does mean something to me...I was in good ole' wally world THOUGHT I had at least twenty dollars with me too buy some Prismacolor pencils with, I'm A aspiring artist. went to the check out looked for my twenty dollar bill...not there, all I had were ones and some change. I counted all my ones putting them on the counter $14, "this is really embarrassing" I muttered. I came A dollar short. I own no debit card or anything to back me up. then I heard the fellow behind me say "how much does she need?" I looked over at him kind of just like ":o"

"One dollar" the women said. he handed over A dollar and I was in total disbelief...all I could mutter out was

"Oh my God, Thank you so much!" He just smiled and said you're welcome...I know it's not really such A big deal but no one has ever done anything like that for me. I have A bit of paranoia and feel like I can trust no one in the world and that everyone is some kind of murderer...this inspired me to be kinder as I should be...I feel like this is something I will remember for A while...wish I could tell him how much I really thank him...

I don't know if this is the nicest thing, but a couple of weeks ago I went to the movie theater with my friends and I lost my ticket. While I was looking for it in the ladies' room, he had one of my friends come and say that someone had returned it. My friend told me later that the ticket dude lied; she hadn't seen anyone come and turn in a ticket while I was in the bathroom.

Be my friend no matter what.
A true friend will stay beside you even when you make bad choices, fail, or quit. They will tell you things that cheer you up, even when you don't want to be in a good mood. They remind you that you are loved even when you think the world hates you. They are glad to hear your voice when they answer your phone call, even if you haven't called them back in the last 10 times that they called you.
A true friend will always be your friend. And I am lucky enough to have one of the very best!!!! We don't even live in the same state anymore, but she has been the most unselfish, sincere, kind, and most beautiful person I know.

I sent a "love interest" a "care package" containing all kinds of SWEET things. She send me a PICTURE from her CELL PHONE CAM to my email address, showing me the look on her face, and the tears in her eyes... and how touched she was, by MY GIFT.

That meant so much to me! I think that was the nicest thing that anyone's ever done for me.

AN AUSTRALIAN BLOKE CALLED ME AND MENDED MY BROKEN HEART AND MADE ME FEEL LIKE A WOMAN ALL OVER AGAIN...NOW WE BOTH HAVE A SECOND CHANCE AT LOVE. AND THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER THINGS OTHERS HAVE DONE THAT I WOULD RUN OUT OF SPACE TRYING TO MENTION THEM....BUT THE BEST QUESTION WOULD BE ...WHAT WAS THE NICEST THING I COULD DO IN RETURN?..LOVE THEM ALL BACK

3 years ago my husband had to have open heart surgery. He was out of work for close to a year and the bills not only kept coming in, they poured in with extreme hospital bills.....Friends at church and family supplied us with groceries, house payments, utilities and anything else we needed. There is no way to repay all of these people for what they did for us. Nothing except mention them when ever possible to let others know there are some really good hearted, god fearing people out there..
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to mention them again..:)

The nicest thing anyone ever did for me, was when my gf was breaking up with me, and I got mad at her, she was kind. Like out of Romeo and Juliet "God hath devised a most perfect punishment: He hath punished your hate with love"
