ask to see an AVON book! She HAS to go with the prices in the book! If she isn't going by the prices in the book (or making them cheaper) she will lose her AVON account!

Both business are well established and been around for many years I know many people that tried Avon and had a hard time making money. I guess like anything it really depends. I have been a Mary Kay customer for 11 years and a consultant for 5 years. I have been an Avon customer off and on over the years. My thoughts are opposite the person who said it is less expensive yes Avon is less expensive so all the more you have to sell. Women are spending money on skin care and make up go t the department stores and you will see them so the client base is there but you need to find them so selling something you love and believe in is what is important. Compare both marketing plans talk to an Avon and a Mk consultant and ask questions. Yes it does cost more to start with MK however you get a lot for the money too so make sure you are comparing appropriately. It seems people who don't know facts are misleading people into believing you must buy inventory in Mary Kay this is not accurate so again speaking to someone in both businesses and getting facts is the best way to go it is great to live in a world with options and choices so do what is best for you not what other want you to believe is best. With that said also if anyone didn't believe their Business was the best then they shouldn't be in it:)

I think you should ask to see an Avon catalouge, like that other girl said. But whoever said Mary Kay was cheaper than Avon is a LIAR!!! Mary Kat can be many times, like, four times more expensive than Avon. But if your AVon lady still doesn't go by the prices, btu you like the product, go to meetmark.com. Mark is a subsidiary of Avon and has the same quality, and good prices

I love Avon's Speed Dry Nail Enamel on toes. I can't keep polish on my fingernails. Avon came out with Instant Manicure Dry Nail Enamel Strips to take care of that ($4.49 or 2 for $8.09 last campaign, anyway).
The retractable self-sharpening eyeliner is the best (3 for $9).

Find another Avon lady.
Since this is her business, she can charge any price she wants. I always have stuff discounted. Avon reps CAN do that.

If she's gouging you report her to Avon. They don't allow that. If you want to compare and verify her pricing go to Avon.com, you can order from there too. If you still want to give her credit you can put her name in, and they will send it to her to deliver to you, but you will have already paid for it.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM! Use Almay liquid liner. I used to use Avon liquid liner and Id run out before I could get it so I switched it up and went to Walgreens and stumbled upon Almay. The bottle is verrry similar so you wont miss it.
