It would have to be the writing and the odd occurences such as the chicken fighting and the constant references to Vaudeville. Oh yeah, and the greatest Family Guy Scene is when stewie asks Brian about the novel that has been working on for 2 years!!!

It's an alright show, but they copy everything off the Simpsons. I typically like blatant comedy and stuff that goes too far/can be offensive (even if it offends me)...people need to learn to laugh at themselves.
To answer your question now, it's hard to say. If you get rid of one of the characters, the show just isn't the same, but my favourite character is Peter...or Maybe Quagmire. Giggety Giggety lol.

The vulgarity, uncouth humor, and entertainingly comical script makes Family Guy a pleasant watch.

Stewie Griffin,stupid stuff they do,funny stuff they say,and everything else. Everything except when they go to far on jokes. Some go WAY TOO FAR.

I love stewy and the way they say "that reminds me of that one time when..." and they do a flashback to something so totally out of context or over the top!

family guy is funny...but sometimes they go too far...unlike simpsons...cuz they still have family ties and care for each other in the simpsons unlike family guy...but both are funny as heck!

I actually don't like it, it's blasphemous and filthy, but I do have to admit it can be funny in it's better moments.
I'm not here to bash your show though, just giving my opinion.
