I used to have a friend... Then one weekend when he came over, we were having such a blast that I forgot to do my English Report. After I told my parents on Monday they told me that they would have to be very strict with me about my grades and homework. (And by the way spent the whole weekend with "a food allergy". He told me he couldnt eat soy, and when questioned him if he wanted tortillia, he said sure and that it wasn't bad for him. I read the ingredients list and there was soy as one of the main ingredients, and I told him, he said "it doesn't matter" and he ate it without an incident) Now, instaed of heading down to the basketball courts and playing hoops, I like to spend that half hour of lunch in the libary doing my homework. I managed to pull my gardes up in time to promote! It is 1 day until the end of Junior High, and he approached me Friday and said "Hey matt, the teachers are done grading and stuff, can we hang out now?" But thats not the case. Teachers are still imputing.

Well, my question was What should I do? He pissed me off with the "food alergy" and I'm still mad at that. Its such a good thing that hes not promoting... I do belive he is a bad influence. He has my phone #. Thats a problem.

What's your question?
Sounds like he's ticked because you spent your time (wisely) taking care of your education first instead of catering to him. Are you his only friend? You sound like you're figuring it all out okay for yourself. The hard part is letting him know that there is more in your life than shooting hoops. Time for a friend with some ambition.

Who cares its the end of the year, Friends are more important than Jr high. If it was your Jr year in high school that'd be different but a college wont even take a look at Jr high.
