Batman has a bullet proof suit, has lots of cool gadgets, is super smart, and can hide in the shadows.
Superman's weakness is kryptonite and he can't get hurt by bullets (but he ducks when the villain decides too throw the gun).

Are you people insane? Batman? Batman is awesome, in his own right, but Superman would kill him.
Here's the breakdown:
Batman = human.
Superman = Alien creature who uses the lasers from his eyes to shave and cut his hair because nothing on earth can cut his hair except for THE LASERS FROM HIS EYES.
... unless Batman has a Kryptonite ring. Then, it's a whole new ballgame.
