Download ad-aware, run it, delete all the critical objects, continue with your merry-making.

It's called the Ad Blocker Add On. Go to the Getting Started page and it's one to the initial add on they have.

Make sure you have the latest version of firefox. It was patched a few weeks ago. Some weak spots allowed it to get infected with virus and spyware.

If Ad Blocker doesn't fix it then scan for an infection.

I don't use Firefox, what is it, other than a Russian fighter jet?
When you signed up to use Fire Fox, did it say you'd be getting advertising? If not, there might be some way you could set it, to block advertising. By the way, where is Crazy and when will you be going? Weill you be there, very long?

I used an extension called adblocker. It worked pretty good. I've had a few problems with it but usually those are just on sites with a crapload of everywhere. I haven't used it for a couple of months though but it's still installed. Maybe it works with the newest browser still.

have you turned on the add block on firefox, its very good, also try going into setting to see if anything has changed. If that fails just reinstall firefox, and get a program called ad-aware ( free) it gets rid of all sypware.
Gooo Luck

Look on the firefox website for an extension or add-on that you can download that will help block ads from the internet.

You've got Spyware, and or Malware installed on your computer....You need to do a complete scan with Antispyware programing and delete the bad guys...
Programs to use are (free) MS Defender, Spybot Search & Destroy and Ad-Aware...After deleting the bad stuff, reboot your computer to totally erase them ...and then you should be good to go...
