friend/lover of 7 years tells you that he wont talk to you in front of his mates because they think your a slag!!( everybody around you knows your not).your so hurt but so angry...........this guy has a girlfriend.

his friends apparantly think im a slag because yrs ago, i became pregnant by him but never gave birth.i kept it hush that i had been pregnant.
i really feel like going mad with rage, i really do........10 years of knowing him, 7 of which i was involved( feelings are to blame)...........it hurts.

it has hurt me because hes been in my life for 10 years and i thought that surely that would mean something.he hasnt had 1 long term g/friend since ive known him........hes had a few relationships...it was only a couple of days before this that he bought me b/day presents....then he acts like this!! .i dont know whether to confront his friends about this........its just hard for me to just leave it.part of me wants him to suffer like i have!!

First: Answer to Katie
A slag is a brittish term for some one who sleeps around (Slappa, Slag, Tart, Hore) etc...
As for you....
I will state to ignore it.
If you have had more than 6 partners within 6 months then I might consider rushing into relationships isnt going to do wonders for my reputation (Even if your not sleeping together)
There is no way for others to know that
If you are known to be single and kiss loads of boys (if at school) this can give you the name of a slapper even if you are not sleeping around. (I would ignore it)
Secondly
Your friends probably know your not and also know he said it in heat of the moment or anger for something you said or did
Or maybe he said it in form of a joke such as (Jane as i dont know you (for jane doe))
"Jane you dam slapper, what you been up to lately?"
"Jane what you doing reading my txt messages you slag?" lol
That would just go to show he didnt mean it
If he said it meaningfully then maybe he is upset
You state and I quote...

I take it you have been sleeping together behind his g\f back then
That doesnt do wonders for your reputation but not to the point to call you a slapper.
My eyes
You need ot find your own partner and let him be with who ever he is with
He should think about what he says and how it might offend the person he is saying it to
He may not also mean it, but if it was said in anger than he would have meant it.
3rdly
If he feels that way about you then he aint no friend.
And if he has feelings for you not worth getting involved with him as it will be a turbulant relationship if he is going to call you names everytime he stamps his feet and row with you.
Move on ignore him despite how you may feel about him there is plenty of fish in the sea
Go fish, then if he has got feelinsg than he will then be wanting you
Its natural for humans to want what they cant have
Dont loose no sleep over it
What he said wont hurt your reputation unless it was something that others have been thinking all along, to which if that is the case then your reputation has already been damaged.
So what difference does it make if he said it out loud it just means you are aware of what people really think of you
Then if they dont think that of you just him then you can always show him your back and walk away when he turns to want his shag and gets jack

The guy is an a** and you need to dump him he doesn't truly like you or cares about you because if he did he wouldn't care what they think and he wouldn't be afraid to talk to you in front of his friends.
